Community Capital of Vermont

Community Capital is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI). We provide much-needed access to capital for new and seasoned entrepreneurs throughout Vermont who are unable to secure bank financing. In particular, we target our financing to business start-ups and individuals with limited income and wealth.

Our service to Vermont entrepreneurs is extremely valuable but comes with a cost. While interest and fees earned on loans fund our operating budget, we would not be able to meet our mission without the generous support of a variety of institutional and individual funders.
