Community Capital offers financing and other assistance to businesses in Vermont that do not yet meet all the requirements for traditional bank financing.

Financing to Start or Grow Your Business: We provide flexible and affordable financing for eligible and qualified new and growing businesses.

Post-Loan Technical Assistance Grants for Borrowers: Successful applicants receive a business advancement grant of at least $1,500 for free, one-on-one assistance from specialized consultants in marketing, financial management, inventory management, and human resources as well as in their specific industry.

Management Assistance Program (MAP):  Thanks to a USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant, Community Capital will start accepting applications from businesses (up to $2,500) and groups of businesses (up to $5,000) on September 14th to purchase consulting services to meet their business goals.  Click here for the press release.  And, here, for the application.  A list of available consultants can be found on our Technical Assistance page. 

Request for Proposals from Consultants: 
If you are a Consultant and want to be considered a consultant for the above-mentioned MAP initiative, please review and respond to the Request for Proposals issued on August 14, 2009.  There is no longer a deadline.  We are accepting RFP responses on a rolling basis.
